Television and Movie Mosaics

One evening I was wondering what it would look like if a screenshot of a movie was taken every few seconds, and then all the images compiled into one image.
I ended up feeling very underwhelmed when I got my first few results. It was not quite what I was hoping for. Still interesting though. Below are a few of my attempts:
